Ages 5-18 years
Our Elite Company - it's what we're known for. Offering the full range of styles and classes to passionate, talented young dancers, this program has seen countless students embark on professional careers.
The Elite Company is split into 4 key training groups:
Development Squads, Junior Company, Intermediate Company, Pre-Senior Company and Senior Company
Each level has a unique curriculum for their respective age group and all focus on consistent training in the core styles along with a strong focus on technique development. Students can add other classes to their core class packages and we can tailor classes to your child's requirements and availability.. Students will also work towards multiple performance opportunities throughout the year. Working with our core coaching staff and TDC Director, students will also have exclusive access to guest Melbourne and Interstate Guest coaches and choreographers.
Young Performers
Recreational Classes,
Ages 5-18 years
The Young Performers Program is designed for students at a beginner to intermediate level.
We recognise that not everyone wants to dance for a career, and might prefer to keep classes casual and fun. We offer the best of both worlds in the Young Performers Program, still offering Industry Professional teachers and teaching correct knowledge and abilities in all styles.
It's a great introduction to the world of performing arts!
The Young Performers are split into five key age groups: 4 and under, 6 and under, 9 and under, 10 and under, 9-13 years. Students have access to a range of classes, including Jazz, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Tap, Hiphop & Acro, and can select whichever classes they would like to join, rather than a prescribed package.
Extension Programs
In addition to the Elite Company, students may add Extension Programs to their enrolment at TDC.
Ballet Extension
Extension Ballet focuses on advanced ballet technique and refinement. This class is aimed at dancers who are passionate about ballet, who show a strong foundation and potential in classical training, and who show commitment and dedication in their core ballet training. Entry into this class is via invitation.
Rising Artist
The Rising Artist Program is an invitational only class that focuses on artistry and development. Elite students in this class focus on not only technique and choreography, but also preparing for a career in the professional dance world. Entry into this class is via audition.
Industry Program
Weekly, students access renowned industry coaches with extensive professional experience, building triple-threat versatility for a versatile career in the Performing Arts.
Private Coaching
One-on-one tuition
For students looking to fast-track their training and reach their goals faster, undivided attention from your teacher in Private Coaching sessions is the best way to achieve this. They're also an incredible way to build a relationship and strong rapport with your teacher.
Students have the choice between Solo Development, Technique Development, Dance, Acro, Ballet, Vocal or Goal Specific Private Coaching sessions.
Subject to availability and scheduling, most TDC Teachers and Trainers are available for Private Coaching or Solos.
Musical Theatre, Vocal, Vocal Groups & Tap
Ages 5-18 years
For students wanting to focus or develop their Musical Theatre and stage performance skills, these classes focus on developing stage presence, acting, performance and charisma whilst sharpening the foundational technical skills to truly stand out amongst the crowd.
You can also add vocal group lessons, vocal private coaching and tap classes to this stream. These classes will put on a mini production at our end of year shows, creating the ultimate triple-threat performer.
